Mxie Bind plus VoiceMail
From within Mxie use the bind menu in the lower left.
Choose Bind to...
Choose bind to an external.
Enter your cell.
Finish.
Your now bound to your cell. You'll see your cell# in the bottom left corner of mxie now.
Calls will go to your Cell.
Depending on your cell phone's voicemail pickup voice mail may land on your cell and not Mxie.
To correct this you need to create a rule.
From the File menu choose Preferences.
Select Call Handling. Choose New.
The Rule Editor opens.
Name your Rule something you like.
In Check Events window. Select Any Incoming calls.
In the Check Action Window. Select Find Me
In the Rule Description window Select Specify Target.
In the Definitions window choose Phone # to add your cell.
If you need to adjust how quickly the pickup of voicemails choose to adjust the Seconds menu in the rule.
OK and Close up all your windows when you’re finished.
Now you can activate this rule just like you would a rule in Outlook with the check box.
Now your cell will receive the calls and if you choose not to answer messages will be in mxie.
