MyVantage - Who can access, and who sees what...

Access  to MyVantage is controlled by the settings on the User screen in VAT...
VAT - CUST SVC - WEBSITE - ADMIN - VA/77 USERS 




RELEVANT FIELDS
  1. Account Number - field to enter the account number. Vantage Employees are set to 999999. Outside Reps typically have their own account in Impress.
  2. MyVantage Access Dropdown - Yes or No. Some account admins may want to restrict their underlings from access.
  3. Rep Number Field - Enter the Impress Rep Number here for sales reps.
  4. Sales manager Num Field - Enter the persons sales manager rep number if allowing their manager to view their accounts.
  5. Map Manager - Enter the persons sales manager rep number if allowing their manager to view their sales territory on the map tool.

IMPERSONATION
  1. The special Vantage Account 999999 grants all Vantage employees the ability to impersonate. This is true of any Employee in the building and any “Vantage” Reps.
  2. Outside independent reps (with accounts other than 999999) cannot impersonate, and do not see the impersonation area of the MyVantage page at all.

WHO SEES WHAT

Vantage Employee without Rep#

  1. Open Orders, Order History, Open Invoices – sees data only for Account 999999, must impersonate to view another account.
  2. Garment Designs, Logo Library – sees data only for Account 999999, must impersonate to view another account.
  3. Sales Report, Sales Map Tool – Can chose Rep from Dropdown.

Vantage Employee with Rep# (like Allison, Marci etc…)

  1. Open Orders, Order History, Open Invoices – sees data for all of the accounts linked to their rep number by default. Can impersonate to view only by specific account.
  2. Garment Designs, Logo Library – must impersonate to view another account.
  3. Sales Report – Can choose their Rep# from dropdown, and also any rep who they manage. This is controlled by “Sales Manager Num” field on underling registration record in VAT. Only set if given OK by upper mgmt.
  4. Sales Map Tool - Can choose their Rep# from dropdown, and also any rep who they manage. This is controlled by “Map Manager” field on underling registration record in VAT. Only set if given OK by upper mgmt.

Outside Rep with Rep#

  1. OpenOrders, OrderHistory, OpenInvoices – sees data for all of the accounts linked to their rep number only. Cannot impersonate.
  2. Garment Designs, Logo Library – sees data only for their account.
  3. Sales Report – Can choose their Rep# from dropdown only.
  4. Sales Map Tool - Can choose their Rep# from dropdown only.

Customers

  1. OpenOrders, OrderHistory, OpenInvoices – sees data for their account only. Cannot impersonate.
  2. Garment Designs, Logo Library – sees data only for their account.
  3. Sales Report –Cannot view this page, no menu options either.
  4. Sales Map Tool - Cannot view this page, no menu options either.
