VAT – Web Users
Access to our website is driven by the Registration table in the StoreBaseDevelopment Database.
These records can be viewed and/or edited using VAT (vat.vantageapparel.com), and only when the viewing PC is on the Vantage Network.
CUST SVC
The Web Users page is accessed via the Main Menu by clicking the CUST SVC button, and by hovering over the WEBSITES – ADMIN menu options, and by clicking the VA/77 USERS link.
WEB USERS SCREEN
The Web Users page displays by default only those Registration records added within the last 30 days.
· Search Textbox – Used to enter the search keyword. You may search for the user by Name (First or Last), Username, Vantage Account Number, or by Company Name.
· Search Button – Returns all records meeting the search criterion.
· New Web User Button – Used to proceed to the Edit Web User Screen to create a New User.
· Edit Button – Used to proceed to the Edit Web User Screen to Edit the selected/existing user.
NEW WEB USER / EDIT WEB USER SCREEN
This screen is used to view/edit the selected user, or to create a new user.
· Registration ID – This is the ID of the record in the database. This is auto generated and cannot be modified. For new users, this will be blank.
· First Name – The User’s First Name.
· Last Name – The User’s Last Name.
· Address1 – The User’s Address (if a Vantage Employee, then 100 Vantage Drive)
· Address2 – The User’s Apt, Suite etc... (if any)
· City – The User’s City.
· State – The User’s State if US. (Enter US)
· Province – The User’s Province if Canada. (Enter CA)
· Postal/Zip – The User’s Postal code.
· Phone – The User’s Phone Number.
· Fax – The User’s Fax number if they were born prior to 1985. LOL
· Email – The User’s email address, IMPORTANT. This is the email address where the password reset would be sent.

· Status –
o Active means the user has been vetted, and their account is active.
o Pending means that the user registered online but has not been approved yet.
o Inactive disables the account completely.
· Division –
o PPD is for VantageApparel.com access. Most customers are PPD. Vantage Employees are set to PPD for VA.
o Special Markets etc…. Special Markets or any other division means that this is a login for Vantage77.com. Vantage Employees are set to SM for their 77 logins.
· Rep Number – If this is a Sales Rep login, their Sales Rep number is entered here.
· Company – The User’s Company Name.
· Registration Date – The date the user Register on the site. Auto Generated if adding a new user.
· ASI – Optional User ASI affiliate number.
· PPAI – Optional User PPAI affiliate number.
· Account Number – The User’s Vantage Account Number. Vantage Employees are assigned 999999. This allows special access to things like account impersonation in MyVantage etc… NEVER assign a non-Vantage employee this number.
· Sales Manager Num – Optional, Sales Rep Manager #. If the user is an underling of a Sales Manager, their Sales Manager’s Sales Rep ID goes here.
· Map Manager Num – Optional, Sales Rep Manager #. Allows Sales Rep Manager to view Customer Area Sales Map of underling.

· Security Level –
o Invalid Distributor means that a user tried to Register as a business, but they are not a business, or are not otherwise creditworthy. They can still order blanks only at retail prices.
o Pending Registration means that the user has not submitted any credit info, and are not yet approved.
o Valid Distributor means that the user has been vetted, and they can order with net pricing.
o Retail User means that they registered a personal account, and can order blank product at retail pricing only on VantageApparel.com.
o Pending Admin Approval. The registration was sent to the email address of the admin on the account and it awaiting their approval.
o Admin Failed To Approve. The registration was sent to the email address of the admin on the account and they did not approve the account.
o Delete renders the registration useless, as though it never happened.
· Quote Tool Access – For Vantage Employees only, and only for those who create and edit quotes. This setting affects the users ability to use the Quote Pages in VAT.
o Form Only - Can create Quotes.
o Form And Approval - Can Create Quotes and Approve them.
o Reporting & Sales Rep - For Project Managers and Sales Reps Managers only.
· Admin Of Account – This is typically the first person of a given company that signs up. Underlings can create logins with the same account number, when they do, the Admin is the person who receives the email to approve the login.
· My Vantage Access – Allows the User to use the MyVantage Pages on the site. Company managers may want their underlings to be able to purchase, but NOT see order status or invoices etc…
· SM Portal Access – This is a system that lives in 77.com. Certain Special Markets sales reps use this system to place orders. Only for Special Markets Logins.
· Receive Offers and Pricing Report – Marketing stuff, not currently used.

· Login Name – This is the login Username. Must be Unique.
· Last Login – Shows the last time the user logged in to the site.
· Password Reset link – User to generate a password reset email that gets sent to the Email Address of the User.

This section is used to View/Edit other users that share the same account number. This is useful to see who the admin on the account is, and for the CSR to maintain the list of access for employees of a given company.
SAVE / CANCEL
Use the Save button to save the user. Use the cancel button to return to the Web Users screen without saving changes.
VAT – MGMT – USERS
Access to areas of VAT is driven by the AdminAccess tables in the StoreBaseDevelopment Database.
These records can be viewed and/or edited using VAT (vat.vantageapparel.com), and only when the viewing PC is on the Vantage Network.
MGMT
The Web Users page is accessed via the Main Menu by clicking the MGMT button, and by clicking the USERS link.
MANAGE USERS SCREEN
The Web Users page displays only those Registration records for Users who’s account number is 999999 (vantage employees).
· Search Textbox – Used to enter the search keyword. You may search for the Vantage Employee by Name (First or Last), of by Username.
· Search Button – Returns all records meeting the search criterion.
· Edit Button – Used to proceed to the Edit User Permissions Screen to Edit the selected user.
EDIT USER PERMISSIONS SCREEN
Use the Dropdowns to select the areas/pages in VAT that the user will have access to.
By section, you can set permissions by using the Deny All, Read Only All, and Read/Write All buttons on the top of each section. For example, of adding a new Customer Service rep, the Read/Write All in the CustService area could be used.
· Deny – Crosses out the links so that the user cannot access the pages.
· Read Only – Allows the user to see the pages but they will not be able to Save.
· Read/Write – the user has full control.
Click the Save button to save the access for the user. Click the Cancel button to return to the Users list.
